Knitted scarf and hat

This is the outcome of my first attempt to create a scarf & hat set knitting, and I felt confident enough to create it as a Christmas gift for a very close friend of mine. I have to say I'm rather proud of it, and of myself indeed. I think I'm going to knit more and more, I'll keep posting my results here in my blog, and of course I'll welcome any suggestion you would like to share.

Clockwork &rust

This gorgeous old clockwork is part of a set of vintage, mostly not-working clocks that Federico found. We don't know how to use them (maybe steampunks jewels?), but we've been charme by this set. i will be posting more pics soon....

Btw this hand-wound clockwork is still working, despite the age, the rust and the overall conditions: swiss made watches rules!! I'll take a video, it's just amazing!

Handmade vest for my little one

Easy and quick to do (mostly because I've done it toghether with my mum), here's some pics of the vest I've knitted for Matteo, my 17months old boy.

It is difficoult to feel, but the wool of this vest i sooooo soft! a warm hugh for my prince!
